Our fancy camps reside inside Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, FL- 7525 West County Highway 30A. Fancy Camps moved to Topsail Hill SP back in 2019, and were given three park tent sites- t-6, t-7 and t-10. Each site has electricity and running water (safe to drink).

Check in is 3pm, check out is 11am. Please check in at the ranger station at the front of the State Park upon arrival.  Early check-in is NOT allowed, but if you arrive early, the ranger station will encourage you to park at the day use parking lot to take advantage of the amenities within the park until check in time! Please have your site # ready when you check in! We have 3 tent sites, the ranger station may not know which tent you are in, but you will have this information in your confirmation email. Once checked in, they will provide a site tag for your vehicle.  The park gates close at sunset.

If you think you will arrive after sunset, please call the ranger station that day to let them know. They will make note of your late arrival and give you a gate code to access the park after they have closed. The following morning please head to the ranger station to check in and get site tags for your vehicle. The ranger station number is (850) 267-8330.

Yes! We are glad for your pet to join you. Please be aware of the Florida State Park Pet Policy.  No dogs are allowed to be left alone at the tent site longer than 30 minutes. Dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk/beach, they are welcome inside the park and on the trails. We do require full replacement cost for any accidents.  There is a dog beach located near Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL. This location is 15 min. from St Andrews, 30 from Grayton, and 45 from Topsail.

16′ or 20′ bell Tent, 1 or 2 queen bed[s] with linens, rugs, end tables, lamps, seating area with table, heating/cooling unit, picnic table, fire ring with attached grill grate, 2 or 3 outdoor chairs, and exterior lighting.

There is a restroom facility in close proximity to the Fancy Camps tents. It is utilized by other tent campers as well. It is equipped with bathrooms and hot water showers and is cleaned frequently by the park staff. It is about a 100 foot walk from the tents. There isn’t one tent that is closer, all three tents are equal distance!

There is a swimming pool reserved for only registered campers, located next to the shuffleboard court/ clubhouse, right in the middle of the park. It is within walking distance of the fancy camps, I’d say around 5 minutes.

Our goal is to make your stay as carefree as possible.  The following are items you may want to bring:

• Toiletries and Towels- our tents are a short walk to the bathhouse shared by all the tent sites
• Food and anything needed for food preparation
• Cooler- no fridge provided
• Flashlight
• Hammock/enos (allowed with 1 inch strapping).
• Trash bags- there are no trash cans at each site, but close by large dumpsters that are placed throughout the park

Each tent reservation automatically includes three little camper set ups; a sleeping pad + sleeping bag at no additional charge. These are found inside the tent at the foot of the bed.

The sites are .9 of a mile from the beautiful emerald coast, just a quick walk, bike, or tram ride. Our tram runs on the half-hour (during season) from 9am-sunset, and on the hour (during the off-season) from 10am-4pm. Tram stop 1 is up at the day use parking lot, tram 2 is right around the corner from the fancy camps- this is where you’ll catch it, tram stop 3 is at the mouth of the beach boardwalk.

The parking spots are approximately 100 feet from the camp sites! They are right near the bathhouse.

48 hour notice from 8am day of your reservation is required for a full refund or to reschedule. Full refunds will be issued due to weather emergencies. No refunds or reschedules due to hot weather upon arrival!
